Advanced treatments for severe burns are designed to minimize recovery time and pain, important factors in achieving the best patient outcomes. These advanced treatments support debridement, prevent infection, and encourage burn closure. OASIS can be used to support burn healing because it retains the natural extracellular matrix (ECM) architecture and constituent ECM composition to support re-epithelialization.
